Unified Expansion

Taking design cues from the existing facility is important when designing expansions. The new building should have an identity of its own while being sensitive to others buildings around it. Creating a design that does not dominate the surrounding context but enhances and compliments it is the key goal of the new building’s exterior design. Examples of this can be seen in the new Education Building at The Church at Brook Hills, the Performing Arts Center at the Alabama Center for the Arts, and The Bell Center.

Our design studio brings deep experience and appreciation for the need to incorporate the necessary new spaces and facilities of a growing program within the heritage and identity of your existing design. Through timeless design strategies, we seek to unify existing and new facilities that support your mission. Our team values and will follow the design principles that have helped shape your organization into a culture that attracts.
